My first trimester update
I have entered my second trimester of pregnancy and I wanted to share with you how my first trimester went. If you follow me on social media, over the weekend I shared the exciting news that I am pregnant with baby #2. It's been a 7 year gap since my first was born and it's a different experience for sure.
From week 5-9 I was exhausted, taking naps almost daily to be able to function. Food aversions have been pretty strong too, and fighting a cold this past week hasn’t been the easiest.
My workouts have been less consistent, my focus has been on rest, but I’ve been doing some walking and strength training when my body feels up for it.
We found out we’re having a baby boy! This will be our second and we’re all very excited. Baby is healthy and that’s the best news.
I am hoping for more energy this second trimester. I plan to share with you my fitness journey as I prepare for birth and postpartum with the hope to help those of you in the same journey.
